About Us

Hello, and Welcome to Randesigns Custom Jewelry website.  If you have clicked on this page you are probably interested in the person with whom you will be doing business.  I would like to tell you about myself and why we are here, and I promise to keep it brief.

My name is Randi and I am a 45 year old first time mother. Since I waited 20 years for my beautiful daughter, I decided to stay at home with her.  I have combined several of my passions, jewelry, polymer clay and barn quilts, and have created Barn Quilt Jewelry.   I enjoy finding the many patterns that are sweeping the areas around me and beyond.  My new motto is "too many barn quilts-too little time"  If I could,  I would make them all.  I have met so many wonderful people involved in each communities project and look forward to meeting many more.  I plan to add as many patterns from as many communities as I can.  I will try my best to acknowledge those that are helping to make this beautiful project grow.

I hope you will enjoy your jewelry as much as I enjoy creating it for you or your loved one.  This is a work in progress, so If you have any ideas or suggestions as to how I can make your shopping experience better, please send me an email.

Sincerely,

Randi, mother of Jordan Leigh

As some of you know, my grandmother has been quite ill.  She succumbed to her illness September 30, 2008.  She was surrounded by her family and passed peacefully.  She lived a full life of 90 years and was matriarch to 8 children, 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild with whom she shared boundless love and devotion.  I was fortunate to live close by. My daughter, Jordan and I visited her often.  During these times she shared with me stories of long ago and demonstrated her amazing quilting talents.  It is because of her I have such a love and appreciation for this beautiful artform.

My Grandmother "Sansie" gave me a quilt about 25 years ago.  It is beautiful and is displayed proudly.  She made many quilts to share with her very large family in her 90 years.  I will have my memories and the wonderful quilt she spent hours making for me.  I will wrap it around me and remember her hugs.

I dedicate this website to her
